Method for the Determination of Vitamin E (Total Tocopherols) in Serum

The use of tripyridyltriazine has been investigated as a chromogenic reagent for the colorimetric determination of vitamin E in serum. The advantages of using this re-agent have been elucidated. Comparison is made with a method employing terpyridyl.
