An automatic continuous-flow system was evaluated under routine daily use for six constituents, sodium, potassium, chloride, carbon dioxide, urea, and glucose. Two parameters have been quantified, interaction between samples and instrumental drift. Results also were influenced by the available amount of sample. Application of correction technics is shown to improve the accuracy of the automatic-analysis system.
