IV. Simultaneous Determination of Calcium and Phosphate

A procedure is described for the automated simultaneous determination of serum calcium and phosphate. Calcium is assayed by atomic absorption spectrophotometry. Phosphate is determined by the molybdenum blue reaction in an improved flow system with a more sensitive reducing agent.
