An automated determination of glucose with o-toluidine is described. Microquantities (0.04 ml) of plasma or serum are added directly to one reagent, without dialysis, to produce a green color that follows Beers law over a wide range of concentrations. This method compares favorably with a manual o-toluidine procedure.
