Use of Metamizol in Determining Phospholipid Phosphorus in Serum

Metamizol (methampyrone) is used as the reducing agent for determination of phospholipid phosphorus in serum. The analysis, rapid and easy, yields results that agree well with those obtained by well-established procedures.
