A Computer Program for Calculating Blood Acid-Base Parameters on an Olivetti "Programma 101" Desk Computer

A computer program is presented for a desk calculator, to be used in calculating Pco2, standard bicarbonate, and base excess. The computer simulates the readings from the Siggaard-Andersen nomogram [Scand. J. Clin. Lab. Invest. 14, 598 (1962)].
