p 829, Table 2, reference number should be (7).

p 830, equation 22: add brackets

p 832, column 1, text-line 4. Factor for multiplying SD should be 1.797 instead of 2.035. This changes some of the calculated values but does not change the interpretation.

p 832, column 2, eliminate lines 19 through 21, and substitute the following: "If X approaches X!C, or if Sgr(XC - X)2 is large, both of which are likely, then W will be small. Therefore, it is likely that TE1 at 120 mg/dl approaches 12.4...."
