Microtest for Mucopolysaccharides by Means of Toluidine Blue

With Special Reference to Hyaluronic Acid

A micromethod is presented for the detection of hyaluronic acid when as little as 0.5 µg. of material are present. The method is simple and applicable as well to some other mucopolysaccharides.
