Electrometric Method for the Determination of Chloride in Serum and Other Biologic Fluids

1 Division of Biochemistry of the Graduate Hospital and the Department of Biochemistry of the Graduate School of Medicine of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, Pa., and the Metabolic Section of the Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Washington, D. C.

A direct titration procedure for chloride in serum, spinal fluid, urine, and other biologic materials has been described. It can be applied to tissues. It is recommended for its accuracy, precision, speed, and versatility.
