Micro Determination of Glutamic-Oxalacetic Transaminase in Blood Serum

Freya Hermann 1, Martha H. Brookes 1, and Clara A. Storvick 1

1 Oregon Agricultural Experiment Station, Corvallis, Oregon, technical paper no. 1157.

A micro method for the determination of glutamic-oxalacetic transaminase activity in blood serum has been described. The method is a modification of the original method by Karmen as adapted by Steinberg, Baldwin, and Ostrow. A comparison of the methods indicates that equally reliable results were obtained by either method.
