Storage of Blood Samples on Kieselguhr and the Determination of Cholinesterase Alkaline Phosphatase and Urea

A method is outlined for the storage of small volumes of blood and serum on kieselguhr tablets, the preparation of which is described.

Cholinesterase, alkaline phosphatase, and urea in blood samples stored in this manner have been determined, and the effects of temperature and duration of storage of the samples examined.
