Studies on the Determination of Bile Pigments I. Standard of Purity for Bilirubin

The purity of a number of commercial bilirubin preparations has been examined. A technic of purification of bilirubin is presented and certain characteristics of the product examined. Tentative standards of purity for bilirubin are proposed.
