Correction


In the article by S. Devaraj, S.V. Hirany, R.P. Burk, and I. Jialal, entitled "Divergence between LDL Oxidative Susceptibility and Urinary F2-Isoprostanes as Measures of Oxidative Stress in Type 2 Diabetes" (Clin Chem 2001;47:1974–9) , there is an error in the first paragraph of the Materials and Methods section. In the sentence beginning "Fasting blood was obtained from all the participants at baseline and after 3 months of supplementation ...", the compound used for supplementation should have read RRR-{alpha}-tocopherol, rather than all-rac {alpha}-tocopherol. The authors apologize for any confusion this might have caused.
