Dear Sir,

The name of one of the co-authors of the study reported in “Diagnosis of á-1-Antitrypsin Deficiency: An Algorithm of Genotyping, Phenotyping, and Quantitation. Clinical Chemistry 2006;52(12):2236-2242,” Dr. Carmen Wiley [current affiliation: Division of Laboratory Medicine, Marshfield Clinic, Marshfield, WI 54449] was inadvertently omitted from the author list. The correct author list should read: Snyder MR, Katzmann JA, Butz ML, Wiley CL, Yang P, Dawson DB, Halling K, Highsmith WE, and Thibodeau SN.

We regret the oversight. Dr. Wiley’s contributions to the manuscript occurred at the initiation of the study and included participation in study design and assay development.

Dr. Wiley has read and agrees with the content and conclusions in the published manuscript.

Thank you,

MR Snyder JA Katzmann ML Butz CL Wiley P Yang DB Dawson K Halling WE Highsmith SN Thibodeau
